My husband just graduated as a Geologist. How can he get a job where he will work outside?
Q. My husband just graduated s a geologist (Bachelors degree). He just got a job with the BLM that pays very low and it looks like it is all inside paper work. He has to sit in a cubicle all day. He is a very outdoors type of person! So what sort of job or where should he apply for an outside/adventure geologist job? Do geologists who work for oil companies work mostly outside?

A. There are many fields available for geologists: 1. State agencies are always looking for qualified geologists to assist in environmental compliance. 2. Environmental Consulting companies are always looking for entry level geologists to log soil samples and build monitoring wells. As long as he does not get the "I went to college for this" attitude, he will do well. Remember, a grad isn't worth a bucket of warm spit for at least 2 years into a job. 3. The oilfield. Ahh, there is plenty of opportunity to work in the patch. Course, if he does, you will never see him as he will be working on the rigs. Talk about working outside. How to get my husband to cut down the swearing?
Q. I was wondering if anybody knows how to get there husbands to slow down on saying bad words. I have a 8 month old daughter, I know she is still to young to be able to understand it. But I dont want to raise her around that kind of language. I have talked to my husband about it..and he kinda trying.. When he plays games thats when he says bad words the most.

Q. My moms husband abandoned their marriage, she was told that there was a form to protect her assets if ur husband abandoned their marriage. Does any body know of the form or what she should do?
