Where can I find a contemporary rug for a good price?
Q. I'm looking for a rug with red as the main color. It needs to be contemporary/modern with a geometric or abstract design. I've tried Target, Pier 1, Pottery Barn, Ikea, West Elm and even Walmart and neither of them have a rug that I just love. Does anyone know of a cool contemporary home store (not on the list) that may have what I'm looking for?

A. Sometimes you can find nice rugs at Lowe's or Home Depot. I've seen some contemporary designs in bold geometrics at those places. Also, I've seen a good selection at www.Overstock.com, on the internet. Their shipping is very low, too. Of course, ordering off the internet is sometimes risky because you can't actually see what you're getting. But if you can find a design you like, and the colors don't have to be an exact "match," or if you can START with the color and work from there, it may be a good solution. What modern contemporary song is good to dance too?
Q. my friend and i are going to be in the talent show in two weeks and we need a song to dance to. we are both good at contemporary, so yeah. it really doesn't have to be THAT modern, just something with a fairly good beat.

How do you dress bay style windows in a contemporary style?
Q. To me, bay windows are inherently traditional and old fashioned looking. Is there a way to dress them and make them look less traditional and more contemporary? Something besides blinds?

A. you said no blinds , I have seen a house that had custom made micro blinds they are covered with a fabric colour of your choice and they give a modern look to the windows, each window glass/panel can be treated individually and they really look nice, they are not your regular blind , it looks like a honey comb when you look at them side way, I believe to have seen them at Blinds To Go , they are custom made .
