An artist is a person engaged in one or more of any of a broad spectrum of activities related to creating art, practicing the arts and/or demonstrating an art. The common usage in both everyday speech and academic discourse is a practitioner in the visual arts only. The term is often used in the entertainment business, especially in a business context, for musicians and other performers (less often for actors). "Artiste" (the French for artist) is a variant used in English only in this context. I need to do a research paper. I'm particularly interested in Catholic or Christian artists but any noteworthy artist who does figurative work (or does portraiture) would be of interest to me. Q. I've been getting really into the music by Sky Eats Airplane, Horse the Band, 100Deadrabbits!!!, and especially iamerror. I've been searching for a program that lets me make nintendo music similar to these bands. So far the only thing i have found is Mario Paint Composer and that just doesn't do the job for me. Anyone know what programs these artists use or a program that can help me make similar music?
